Cashew Nog – Holiday Cashew “Nog” Recipe

By Kristin Harris December 12, 2020

Cashew Nog

December is here and there are so many reasons to celebrate the end of 2020! In light of this, I thought I would share one of my favorite holiday drink recipes–a Non-Dairy Cashew Nog–that is sure to be a hit at any stay-at-home event this Christmas. This Non-Dairy Cashew Nog is not only super creamy and delicious, but healthy too! Made from frozen bananas, this allergen-friendly cashew based “nog” is full of plant protein and high in potassium. And, because this creamy Nog includes cashews (healthy fat and protein), as well as cinnamon (blood sugar balancing), this tasty beverage won’t spin your blood sugar levels out of control like regular egg nog. Moreover, this “Nog” is the perfect balance of macronutrients (Protein + Fat + Healthy Carbs) that will actually leave you feeling full and satisfied. Lastly, this holiday beverage is packed with antioxidants derived from the spices: cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. So, grab your cozy slippers, sit back and enjoy the holidays the right way for 2020…with healthy + decadent Cashew Nog!
