Have yourself a healthy little Christmas.
It’s almost December 25th and that means the clock is ticking for finishing your gift purchases and wrapping. When considering what to buy for your loved ones this year, what better way to say “I love you” than giving the gift of health. Below I have links to 5 gifts that are perfect for the health conscious individual in your family or for that special someone you wish to give the greatest gift of all–wellness! Note: I am not a paid representative of any of these companies, however I would definitely not mind being affiliated with any one of these products, as they are all so wonderful.
1. Fluoride Filter Water Pitcher – $53
This is the only water pitcher I have found on the market that can filter fluoride along with chlorine, heavy metals, including mercury, which causes kidney and neurological damage. The manufacture states this pitcher also filters chloramines, chlorine taste and odor, turbidity, cysts, VOC’s and glyphosate. The clay filters last for 6 months, so this is a great investment. I bought mine last year and it is still going strong! Find it here.
2. Aqua Elegance High Output Water filter – $32
I was happily surprised that after just one shower with this filter I noticed my hair was shinier and my skin softer. This filter rids water of heavy metals that stain your bathtub, reduces chlorine by 90-95%, is easy to install and lasts 6 months. Having a filter on your shower can provide relief from conditions such as flaky scalp, dry skin, dandruff, eczema, and itchiness caused by unhealthy chemicals in your water. Additionally. this non-toxic filter kills bacteria and inhibits the growth of fungi. Find it here
3. Suntegrity Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30 – $45
This moisturizing face sunscreen is a non-greasy, chemical-free sunscreen that offers Broad Spectrum Protection against damaging UVA & UVB rays. What’s excellent about this sunscreen is it actually functions as a face moisturizer, sunscreen and make-up primer all in one–perfect for the on-the-go type. Key ingredients in this product are: Hyaluronic acid, astaxanthin, red algae and certified organic aloe vera, jojoba, sunflower, pomegranate, cucumber, and green tea, which help provide additional sun protection, moisture and hydration. Furthermore, the zinc-oxide not only protects the skin from the damaging UVA and UVB rays, but it also soothes and calms the skin. In fact, zinc-oxide is known for it’s anti-inflammatory properties that can actually improve skin conditions like rosacea, acne, and melisma. Find it here.
4. Community Shared Agriculture: Local Organic Produce Box
How wonderful it is to get a package delivered right to your door, however it is even more wonderful to get fresh, local, organic and seasonal produce (a.k.a. healthy food) delivered right to your doorstep with delicious recipes to accompany. Grocery shopping for healthy, good-tasting produce is time consuming. Furthermore, the fruits and vegetables in our local grocery stores may not always be the freshest or the best-tasting, but by purchasing a weekly or bi-weekly subscription to an organic box of veggies–straight from your local farmer–it is a win-win situation!

5. Rebalancer – Personal Trampoline – $32
If your New Year’s Resolution is to start the year off with a healthy detox, cleanse or exercise routine, this personal rebalancer should be at the top of your list. Jumping on a trampoline is not only great exercise, but it is also an awesome tool to stimulate your lymphatic system and detox the body. Just like a massage or acupressure, the motion of jumping up and down creates movement in the lymph, which pushes toxins out of the body through the detox pathways. Find it here.
Bonus #6: Essential Oil Diffuser – $20
Since purchasing my aromatherapy essential oil diffuser a couple of months ago, I have never slept better. In fact, I just don’t sleep as soundly without it. My favorite essential oil to diffuse for a wonderful night of sleep is lavender, but there are so many other oils to experiment with like frankincense and chamomile. This diffuser can also be used during the day for energy and alertness with essential oils like peppermint, clary sage and citrus. Lastly, this diffuser can be set to 7 different LED colors for added relaxation or stimulation; it is a perfect addition to your meditation or yoga practice. Find it here.
