I recently challenged myself to make the Perfect, Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte to bring on the Fall vibes. I must say, I am quite impressed with the results! Furthermore, I honestly can’t remember the last time I went through a Starbucks, due to modern day toxins like mold and GMO sugar. When it comes to mycotoxins (mold) found in conventional coffee and man made sugars like, high fructose corn syrup, I’ll pass. Plus, what better reason to jump in the kitchen, than a healthy substitute for a pumpkin spice latte? Even more, you just can’t beat Mother Nature when it comes to the taste and quality, right? Homemade ALWAYS tastes 10x better when using real food, organic ingredients. Below you’ll find the first and final recipe for the 5 ingredient Perfect Healthy Spice Latte. The best part, most of these ingredients you probably already have in your cabinet.

The Ganoderma mushroom is one of the oldest mushrooms to be used in Chinese herbalism, ranking close to ginseng for years of usage. It is one of the most researched mushrooms, partly because in Ganoderma there are substances called triterpenes. These are found in many foods and plants like honey, apples, and cranberries. There are 50 of these substances that are exclusively found in ganoderma mushrooms. When the Ganoderma lucidum mature, they release spores which are used for Organo King Coffee. How Much Caffeine Does King Coffee Have?
King Coffee contains 100-150mg of caffeine per sachet. If you’re caffeine sensitive, you could start with 1/2 packet, which would be equivalent to a cup of green tea.
The Perfect + Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe
Prep time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 5 minutes
Serving size: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of non-dairy milk of choice (I used organic Almond milk)
- 1/2 packet of King Coffee
- 1 tablespoon canned Organic Pumpkin Puree
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp Pumpkin Spice
- 1/8 tsp Ceylon cinnamon to dust top of frothed latte
Directions:
- First, pour the non-dairy milk in a pot, place on stove top and heat on a medium to low temperature.
- Empty 1/2 packet of King coffee into the pot, along with the pumpkin puree, maple syrup and pumpkin spice.
- Next, use a handheld latte frother to blend ingredients together until well combined and you have a fluffy frothed latte.
- Pour liquid into your favorite mug and lightly dust with Ceylon cinnamon for extra blood sugar balancing properties.
- Pair with your favorite Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread or … dates dipped in Pumpkin Seed Butter for extra blood sugar balance.*Note: You can double the recipe and use a full packet of King Coffee for two people.
