1. “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay
“If we are willing to do the mental work, almost anything can be healed.” Louise Hay, not only known as a guru, self-help author, but also someone who cured herself of cancer. This book is sure to bring an empowering, self-healing life perspective that you may not have considered yet on the journey to health.
An excerpt from You Can Heal Your Life:
“Life Is Really Very Simple. What We Give Out, We Get Back…What we think about ourselves becomes the truth for us. I believe that everyone, myself included, is responsible for everything in our lives, the best and the worst. Every thought we think is creating our future. Each one of us creates our experiences by our thoughts and our feelings. The thoughts we think and the words we speak create our experiences.” Find it here
2. Essential Oil Diffuser
Diffusing essential oils can really be a life changing experience. Whether used for relaxation and sleep, energy and focus or getting in the mood;)…therapeutic essential oils have so many health benefits. In fact, I just don’t sleep as soundly without the scent of lavender filling my bedroom. For extra Valentine’s Day magic, I recommend mixing one or more of the following oils: rose, neroli, sandalwood, ylang ylang or patchouli. For more pleasure enhancement, this particular diffuser can be set to 7 different LED colors for added relaxation or stimulation; it is a perfect addition to your Valentine’s evening. Find it here
3. Heritage Store Rosewater
They say the scent of rose in the air is a sign that an angel may be communicating with you or a sign of God’s presence and could even accompany the delivery of a blessing from God. Why not bless yourself or a special person with this lovely rosewater spray. In fact, I cannot live without this product! I use this rosewater spray to set my makeup, scent my hair/body and as a toner. Heck, it is even an amazing refresher on a hot summer day. The scent of a rose is definitely a mood enhancer and the price is certainly right. Find it here
4. Beauty Oils with Activated Oxygen
Our skin is exposed to environmental toxins, UV light, bites, stings, acne and wounds. It’s important to protect our skin + support healing with high quality products. These oils have transformed my skin and left it moisturized, nourished and the healthiest it’s ever been! What is ozone? “Activated oxygen, also known as ozone, is created by taking pure oxygen and electrically charging it. This is done by flowing oxygen through an electrically charged tube. What happens is this: pure oxygen or O2 (two oxygen atoms) is changed to pure ozone or O3 (three oxygen atoms), hence the name, PurO3.” The next step is where the magic takes place because bacteria and disease cannot exist in a state of oxygen. The “activated oxygen is funneled into the desired raw oil where the electrically charged oxygen is slowly infused.” So, when these oils are applied topically or taken internally, say “good-bye” to bacteria & pathogens (even acne). These products no doubt, will change the quality of your skin & health. Find them here.
5. Homemade Cookies
Who doesn’t love a homemade gift, let alone homemade cookies?!…especially if they are heart-shaped and dipped in chocolate. I promise these beauties are supremely easy to make and their chocolate-y goodness is sure to win your heart, or the heart of your lover. Ingredients: 1 mashed banana, 3/4 c. shredded coconut, stir, form into hearts and place on a greased cookie sheet. Directions: Bake at 350F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Next, melt 100% cacao with 1-2 tbs organic honey over a double boiler. Once cookies are finished baking and cool, dip in melted chocolate, place on a parchment lined dish, refrigerate for 20 minutes et viola…beautiful, healthy V-day cookies!
